In its role as our primary governing body, the CNX Gas Corporation Board of Directors provides oversight of the Company's affairs and constantly strives to improve and build on the Company's strong corporate governance practices.

One way we build and protect our culture is by promoting and reinforcing our Company's core values with our employees at all times. Many of our core ethical values are set forth in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. We also encourage transparency in decision-making and promote healthy debate among employees; we expect our employees to report improper activity and we have procedures and structures in place to facilitate doing so. We also do not hesitate to separate ourselves from anyone who disregards our values or violates our ethical standards, regardless of performance or potential.
